I used to consume a lot of oatmeal just before I gave up grains. It was indeed my morning meal. I actually miss it but not as much any more.

That being said, the other day I had a yearning for some oatmeal so I set out to come up with a practical, grain-free option.

This recipe is a bit heavier than traditional oatmeal. You will love this variation and it will keep you full all day long.
