Are You Up For My 31-Day Green Smoothie and Juice Challenge?

Are you ready for a lifestyle reboot with a daily green smoothie or juice? If so, this challenge is you!

I bet you are really conscious about what goes into your body. Of course, there’s always room for improvement, but overall we are healthy eaters in our home.

For the whole month of July I’m challenging myself to a fun and delicious 31-Day Green Smoothie and Juice Challenge that is designed to help you start, or re-start, a daily habit. AND I’m challenging you to join in with me! All you have to do is tweet me pictures of your smoothies. (Send them to @karincoger).

I’ve already started the challenge so you can check out my smoothies and juices on Instagram.

So what is the 31-day green smoothie and juice challenge?

So what is the 31-day green smoothie and juice challenge?

My 31-day green smoothie and juice challenge is simple. For the next 31 days, all you have to do is replace one of your regular meals with one of the green smoothie or one juice recipe. I recommend having your green smoothie for breakfast, but you can have it for whichever meal is most convenient for you.

Is This A Green Smoothie-Only Diet/Fast?

No, this is not a green smoothie fast. Continue to eat healthy, clean food meals for lunch and dinners while on this challenge. The challenge provides a new delicious green smoothie recipe for you to make every day for the next 31 days.

How Does This Challenge Work?

The 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge guide contains 30 of my reader-favorite green smoothie recipes. Each day, you will replace one meal with that day’s smoothie recipe in the guide.

Additionally, you will get weekly grocery shopping lists that will help ensure that you have all of the ingredients on hand to make these recipes. The purpose of this program is to eliminate all excuses and make it as easy as possible to start a daily green smoothie and juice habit.

So how do you join in on the fun?

I’m just trying to get a feel of whether this is really healthy for me. I like that it’s an easy breakfast and that it gets me a veggies at breakfast, a time when I normally wouldn’t get any kind of vegetables. I don’t even eat fruit in the morning anymore, after getting used to cutting it out on my diabetes diet. While I’ve read plenty of studies that say that green smoothies are helpful in balancing blood sugar, but part of me just quite can’t believe it. I suppose I could test my current blood sugar before and after, but I don’t relish sticking myself again unnecessarily. (It was quite a miserable few months when I did it four or five times a day).

So I think I’ll keep the smoothies in, using my favorite recipes, and maybe just a few times a weeks. So how did the smoothie challenge work out for you?

Green smoothies have completely changed my life. When I first started I was 40 pounds over weight, sluggish, and hated eating healthy. After just 3 days of drinking nothing but green smoothies, I had a completely different outlook on life. And now, 3 months later of eating healthy, I have the energy to want to exercise, I’ve lost 25 pounds and still going! I’ve never had the will to do any form of exercise what so ever and now it’s like I’m a completely different person!

Hey there! This challenge is pretty cool! I’ve been doing green smoothies everyday (sometimes more than once!) since late January. I absolutely love them! I sually do almond milk, sometimes a little OJ (I sub lemon juice if I don’t have OJ,) golden flaxseed, raw pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, kale and spinach (or sometime one or the other, if we’re out of one,) bananas, and blueberries and/or strawberries, depending on what we have on hand. I totally notice if I don’t get a smoothie for one reason or another. It’s my natural fuel source! Kudos to all following the challenge! Way to go!!! (And just a slight testimony, since starting this, and cutting meat, eggs, and dairy from my diet, I’ve lost almost 20 pounds in about 6 months WITHOUT a regular exercise routine. Now I certainly recommend exercise, but know that if you’re not eating right, no amount of exercise will prove to create a long term healthy body!)
